Answer:

These zones are called the Torrid Zone, the two Temperate Zones, and the two Frigid Zones. The Torrid Zone is very hot since the sun shines overhead here. The Temperate Zones maintain a moderate climate, and the Frigid Zones are extremely cold.

☀️ On the basis of the different amount of heat received by the sun there are three heat zones of the Earth ::

⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Torrid Zone –

It lies between the Tropic Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn. It is the hottest zone of the Earth which receives direct rays of the Sun throughout the year.

Temperate Zone –

This zone has moderate temperature [ neither too hot nor too cold ] as it receives slanting rays of the sun.

Temperate zone is in two parts :

  • Northern temperate zone

It lies between the Tropic of Cancer and the Arctic Circle in the Northern hemisphere.

  • Southern temperate zone

It lies between Tropic of Capricorn and the Antarctic Circle in the southern hemisphere.

Frigid Zone –

This zone is the coolest zone as it receive extremely slanting rays of the Sun.

Frigid zone is in two parts :

  • Northern Frigid Zone

It lies between Arctic circle and North pole in the northern hemisphere.

  • Southern Frigid Zone

It lies between the Antarctic circle and South pole in the southern hemisphere.
