Three levels of Democracy in India -

1. Central Government

2. State Government

3. Local Government

Explanation:

The central Government  operates at the national level, State government  operates at the state level and local governments operate at the village or city level. Governments have the right to make laws , make decisions and enforce them . People can sure if they feel that state laws are inappropriate.

In a democracy , true power belongs to the people , since all levels of government  are popularly elected. If the people are unhappy with the government's decision, they can be elected in the next general election. The government is called a representative democracy because it is elected by the people.
