A plasma membrane separates each cell from the environment, permits the flow of the molecules across the membrane,and the contains receptors that can affect the cell activities, A DNA containing regions occupies a portion of the interior

Hey there!

What are the three main functional regions of a cell?

The three main functional regions of a cell are :-

\textbf { (1) Nucleas }

\textbf { (2) Mitochondria }

\textbf { (3) Ribosomes. }

\textbf { 1.Nucleas }

These are central part of cells that contain genetic material which is enclosed in a membrane. Thier main function is to control gene expression and mediate the replication of DNA during cell division.

\textbf { 2. Mitochondria }

Also known as power house of the cell, it's main function is to perform cell respiration, that is, generate energy needed for the cell.

\textbf { 3. Ribosomes }

A ribosome is a complex cellular mechanism used to translate genetic code into chains of amino acids.

Glad if helped.
