In Systematic Approach one tries to study different physical reliefs, topography, commodities, transport & other natural or anthropogenic features systematically in respect to it's location, distribution, evolution etc. all over a particular area. For example, while studying the Iron & Steel Industry of India, in systematic approach we describe the location, distribution, factors of localization etc. of all the places having such an industry.
In Regional Approach we choose a particular area (it can be a natural region,a district, a state etc.) & describe it topically. For example, If we take the Deccan Plateau region of India, we can describe it in terms of it's physiographic divisions, mineral resources, rainfall, rivers, transportation networks & so on..
