HEYA, BUDDY !!

There are primarily two kinds of blood vessels- arteries and veins.

★ The Arteries are responsible for carrying oxygenated blood from the heart to the other organs of the body. Blood flows in arteries at a great pressure. This is why arteries have thick and elastic walls. They are located deep below the skin.

★ The Veins are responsible for carrying deoxygenated blood from the cells of the body back to the heart. They are present near the surface of the skin. The pressure of blood flowing through veins is lesser as compared to blood flowing through arteries.

As We know that, Veins collect blood from different parts of the body and pour it into the guts.

➽ Tunica media is thin, having fewer muscle fibres.

➽ Tunica interna features a simple, elastic membrane and elongated cells.

➽ Veins are collapsible because they need thin walls.

➽ Veins have valves that prevent the backward flow of blood.

➽ The flow of blood in veins isn't so fast because the blood within the veins is low.

➽Except for pulmonary veins, all the veins carry deoxygenated blood.

Now,

➽ Arteries distribute blood from the guts to the various parts of the body.

➽Tunica media is thick, having more muscle fibres.

➽ Tunica interna features a strong elastic membrane and more elongated endothelial cells.

➽ Arteries aren't collapsible as they need thick walls.

➽ Arteries haven't any walls.

➽The flow of the blood is fast because the blood in them is under great pressure.

➽ Except for the pulmonary arteries, all the arteries carry oxygenated blood

Cheers !
