a) Biotic components-Living organisms including human beings which grow and live are called biotic components. It is also called living things. Ex-Animals, Plants, etc.

b) Abiotic components-They are non-living things which cannot grow and live.These are called abiotic components. Ex- soil, water, light, air, temperature, etc.
