Take another look at your homework question. Doesn’t it actually say “Find two irrational numbers between 2017 and 2018” ? This doesn’t mean there are only two.
I know you don’t want to make work out of this, but in case you find some initiative try this:
Find a small irrational number. Call it nn.2017+n2017+n will also be irrational, as will 2017+2n2017+2n.

“the two” suggests there are only two, but in fact there are infinitely many. For example, 1/n−−√1/n is a positive irrational less than 1 for each positive integer n>1n>1 that is not a perfect square. So 2017+1/n−−√2017+1/n is an irrational number between 2017 and 2018 for each such n.

There are an infinite number of irrational numbers between 2017 and 2018, not just two.

There are infinite numbers between any two whole numbers, so that question doesn’t make sense. If yo want any random two, use a calculator and search up square roots.
