There are 2 laws of refraction....

1) Incident ray , refracted ray and normal all lie on the same plane.

2) sin I/sin r = constant

\mathcal\red{\underline{\underline{LAWS\:OF\:REFRACTION}}}

There are following two laws of refraction-

  • The incident ray , the refracted ray and the normal at the point of incidence lie on the same plane.

  • The incident ray , the refracted ray and the normal at the point of incidence lie on the same plane.The ratio of sine of angle of incidence to the Sine of angle of refraction is always constant for any given colour of light in any two media.
