Ahmedabad is the largest city and former capital of the Indian state of Gujarat. It is the administrative headquarters of the Ahmadabad district and the seat of the Gujarat High Court. Ahmedabad's population of 5,633,927 makes it as the fifth-most populous city in India. Ahmadabad is located on the banks of the Sabarmati River, 30 km from the state capital Gandhinagar, which is known as its twin city.

Geography of Ahmedabad:-

There are two main lakes located in this city. Namely, the Kankaria lake and the Vastapur lake. Kankaria lake is located in Maninagar which is an artificial lake developed by Qutb-ud-din Aybak in 1451. It also has an aquarium and a zoo. In the middle of the lake, there is an island palace named as Naginawadi built during the Mughal Era. The city is located in a sandy and dry area.

What is special about Ahmedabad?

It is special due to its awesomeness, charmingness. It has always been the people and the diversity of the population that had been the specialty of this city. But here we have a big list of its awesomeness :-
