Liquefied petroleum gas has most important components are PROPANE AND BUTANE. The domestic LPG cylinder, though also contain a little amount of methane because methane has unpleasant smell and it alerts people about leakage of gas

Propane and Butane. It has no smell. That's why Ethyl methcapton is also added to recognize.
