1 inadequate storage facilities. storage facilities in rural areas are totally absent or inadequate.under such conditions farmers are compelled to sell their produce imediately after harvest at the prevailing market prices.
2 soil erosion . large tracts of fertile land suffer from soil erosion by wind and water this area must be properly treated.
