Membrane Lipids: Three common membrane lipids: Phospholipids: contains 2 fatty acid tails, glycerol, phosphate and alcohol groups. Glycolipids: contains a sugar head, covalently bonded through glycerol just like phospholipids. Cholesterol: bulky molecule that has two ends.
