There are two parts of crust on the basis of temperature and density, namely,
1️⃣ SIAL (Continental Part) : This layer consists of Silicon and Aluminium. This is the outer rocky layer of the Earth's crust. Sial floats over Sima. It is a discontinuous layer and generally the continental part. It is generally composed of granitic rock.
2️⃣ SIMA (Oceanic Part) : This layer consists of Silicon and Magnesium. This is the second and inner rocky layer of the Earth's crust. It is a continuous layer and generally the oceanic crust. It is generally composed of basaltic rocks.

Hii here is the answer
The two parts of the earth crust are oceanic, continental . Oceanic and continental crust are both shift and move.
Oceanic layer generally correspond to the oceans which are bit elevated .
continental on the other hand is the crust that can shift and move due to tectonic disturbance at core and mantle.
the composition is however different
since the continental crust is made up of granite and is less dense then the Oceanic crust .
where is the Oceanic crust is more dense than the ocean crust . it is made up of basalt rock .
I hope it may very helpful to you !!!!!!
