Two types of measurement:

There are two broad types:

quantitative measurement or qualitative. Each has its own value and should be treated quite separately.

1)Quantitative information: The result of measurement is very simple and expressed in numerical quantity. Numbers are precise and clear. Tools which are used quantitative data often work by using a combination of mathematical calculation and comparison of numbers.

 2)Qualitative information: Quantitative data is not always reachable and not adequate always. Qualitative result is non-numeric, typically written text. This often comes in volume where a phrase or sentence describes a single, independent piece of information.
