Heya!!

There are two fundamental physical quantities.

a scalar quantity, and a vector quantity.

a physical quantity needs any of these-DIRECTION or MAGNITUDE, or both.

▪Scalar is a physical quantity which has only magnitude, but need not to mention any direction.

▪vector is a physical quantity which has both magnitude and direction. both are the most needed.

---> For example, •distance is a scalar quantity, whereas displacement is a vector quantity.

• speed is a scalar quantity, but velocity is a vector quantity.
