the property of carbon which help it to make multiple bonds are as follows :-
tetravalency :- the four valency of carbon help it to make covalent bond between carbon and carbon atom by mutual sharing.
catenation :- this is the self Linking property of carbon to carbon atom

1) Catenation - It is the ability to form bonds with other atoms of carbon.
2) Tetravalency - With the valency of four , carbon is capable of bonding with four other atoms.
