1. FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods)
2. Retail
Though healthy competition is good for an industry. Uneven competition will lead to monopoly and will destroy and drive out marginal players from the business.
The FMCG and Retail business segments of industry are hard hit by uneven foreign competition. Indian businesses of these sector are unable to compete with their Foreign counterparts and are losing out to them.
Today there are only few Indian FMCG and Retail businesses that are able to manage the onslaught of foreign competition.
