HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

IN PHYSICS THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF QUANTITIES -

SCALER - scaler quantities have only magnitude and no direction . this would include mass , temperature , speed and distance .

VECTOR - vector quantities have both direction and magnitude . this would include displacement, velocity, acceleration.
