contact forces and act at of distance force.

eg.if a book is resting upon a surface, then the surface is exerting on upward forces upon the book in order to support the weight of the book.

The forces of Earth are :

1. Gravitational Force :

Gravity, or gravitation, is a natural phenomenon by which all things with mass or energy—including planets, stars, galaxies, and even light—are brought toward one another. On Earth, gravity gives weight to physical objects, and the Moon's gravity causes the ocean tides.

For example:

When ball is thrown upwards it always come downwards after a certain height because the ball is pulled or attracted by the Earth's gravitational force.

2. Frictional Force :

Frictional Force refers to the force generated by two surfaces that contacts and slide against each other. These forces are mainly affected by the surface texture and quantity of force requiring them together. The angle and position of the object affect the volume of frictional force.

For example:

1. Rubbing both hands together to create heat.

2. A sled sliding across snow or ice.Skis sliding against snow.

3. A person sliding down a slide is an example of sliding friction.

4. A coaster sliding against a table.

5. A washing machine pushed along a floor.

6. An iron being pushed across material.
