MetallicMetallic minerals contain (a)ferrous (Containing iron ore), manganese, nikel, Coblat, etc.(b) Non-Ferrous : They are Copper, Lead, Tin, Bauxite, etc(c) Precious : Gold, Silver, Platinum2. Non-Metallic contain Mica, Salt, Potash, Sulphur, Limestone, etc3. Energy Minerals are Coal, Petroleum, Natural Gas.

1) Metallic mineral --
a) Ferrous - they contain iron in them.Manganese,nickel,cobalt
b) Non-ferrous - they don't contain iron in them. copper,lead,tin
c) Precious -- gold,silver, platinum

2) Non-Metallic mineral --
Mica, marble, sandstone, limestone, granite.
