Properties of Bar Magnet.

• Bar Magnet has the same properties as that of permanent magnet .
• It has two poles North and South Poles .
• It attracts Iron and Steel particles .
• Like poles repel each other , unlike poles attract each other .
• Since Bar magnet is a permanent Magnet , it will always suspended , North poles of magnet points towards North Pole of the Earth .
• They are permanent Magnet they don't lose their Magnetism .
• Magnetic field is Maximum at the poles , and minimum as we go the centre.
