There are two types of mixture, i.e., heterogeneous and homogeneous. There are 2 types of mixtures mainly HETEROGENEOUS and HOMOGENEOUS mixtures…! HOMOGENEOUS MIXTURES are the mixtures which have the same composition throughout and are also called solutions. eg:- sugar solution, salt solution,

=> A material containing two or more substances in any ratio is called a mixture.

=> The properties of mixture are the properties of its constituents.

=> A mixture can be separated into its constituents by simple physical methods.


$\bold{TYPES \: OF \: MIXTURE:-}$

There are two types of mixtures:-

1.) HOMOGENEOUS MIXTURE :-

=> A mixture is said to be homogeneous if it's composition is uniform throughout.

=> For example :- sugar solution and air.


2.) HETEROGENEOUS MIXTURE:-

=> A mixture is said to be heterogeneous of it's composition is not uniform throughout.

=> For example :- soil in water ,the mixture of salt and sugar.
