hey
here is ur answer
==========
There are four basic types of motion in mechanical systems:

➡Rotary motion is turning round in a circle, such as a wheel turning.
➡Linear motion is moving in a straight line, such as on a paper trimmer.
➡Reciprocating motion is moving backwards and forwards in a straight line, as in cutting with a saw.
➡Oscillating motion is swinging from side to side, like a pendulum in a clock.

I hope this will help

hey user here is ur ans is......

Change of position of an object with respect to time is "motion." Frame of reference is important for describing motion.
For example, We can't notice the motion of earth as we are also moving with earth.
Basic type of categorisation is: Uniform motion and non uniform motion.

Further, there are "to and fro" motion which are called osscilation.
Simple harmonic motion
Anharmonic motion
Cirular motion
Periodic motion
Brownian motion (studied in tyndall effect)
Random motion.

hope it's help!!
