There are two types of Software :

❇ APPLICATION SOFTWARE
❇ SYSTEM SOFTWARE = System software is a
software which governs the computer system and provides platform to other operating systems ( O. S.)
EXAMPLE = Operating system, file
management utilities, disk operating system.
❇ APPLICATION SOFTWARE = Application
Software that allows users to do things like create text documents, play music and games or surf the Web.
EXAMPLE = Games, worksheet, spreadsheet, etc.
