What are the types of standard titrants?

In a biochemistry laboratory the most common standards for acid titrationwe use basic chemical such as sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), Tris which is also known as trisaminomethane [(CH2OH)3CNH2] etc. you should know that Tris is a very commonly used chemical in Biochemistry and Molecular biology lab.
