The human body contains more than 200 types of cells that can all be classified into four types of tissues:

✓epithelial, connective, muscle, and nervous.

✓Simple epithelial tissues are generally classified by the shape of their cells. The four major classes of simple epithelium are:

1) simple squamous;

2) simple cuboidal;

3) simple columnar;

and 4) pseudostratified.

✓Connective tissues are:

Bones,blood, Ligament,tendon,areolar ,adipose and cartilage.

✓Muscular tissues are:

The 3 types of muscle tissue are cardiac, smooth, and skeletal.

✓Nervous tissue :

Nervous tissue is composed of three main parts:

nerves, the spinal cord and the brain.

The primary function of nervous tissue is to receive stimuli and send the impulse to the spinal cord and brain. The brain sends back a response to the muscles via the nerves.
