what are the uses of conductors an insulators of heat in daily life

conductors help electricity and  heat to pass freely while insulators prevent the free flowing capacity of electricity and also heat .for eg : utensils when kept for heating in the stove they easily gain the temperature and for insulators  like screwdrivers have a plastic end which avoids the freee flowing capacity of electricity and heat pan with handles it prevents us from getting burns .
