◆Copper and Aluminium metals are used to make wires for electrical communication.

◆Copper,aluminium and iron are used to make household utensils, tools,machines and equipments.

◆Iron is used in constructions.

◆Mercury is used in thermometer .

◆Gold,silver and platinum are noble metals so,it is used to make jwellery.

◆Aluminium is used to preserve the foods.

Uses of non-metals----

◆Oxygen-All living beings use it for respiration which is continuous process. Oxygen is necessary for combustion process.

◆ Sulphur, it is used to make medicines as germiside , to make matchsticks ,bomb etc.

◆Phosphorus,It is also used in matchsticks,fireworks,bomb etc.

◆Nitrogen,it is inert in nature so liquid nitrogen is used to preserve blood and donated organs. And also used in food packaging .

◆Iodine,it is used in the preparation of iodized salt to prevent goitre.

◆Helium is used in balloons as it is lighter than air.

◆Argon is used in as a filling in electric bulb.
