Answer:

The Ocean currents help in controlling the climate by neutralizing the temperature between different areas in the oceans. Current is important in marine ecosystems. Ocean Currents is a movement of ocean water in a particular direction. The currents are into two types Warm and cold current,  where warm current brings rain to the coastal areas because of the moisture it brings along with it. The cold current became a source of fresh water and are also dangerous because they bring icebergs.

Answer:

By moving heat from the equator toward the poles, ocean currents play an important role in controlling the climate. Ocean currents are also critically important to sea life. They carry nutrients and food to organisms that live permanently attached in one place, and carry reproductive cells and ocean life to new places.
