What are the uses of PCl₃ and PCl₅?

The PCl5 is used for the chlorination process where it works as the chlorination agent that is used for the laboratory synthesis and to form the product in the industries.

It can also be used as a dehydration agent.

Whereas the PCl3 is used in the industries for the formation of the organic phosphorous compound.
