using of an earthen pot
• evaporation is the process by which water changes to gas at any temperature below its boiling point.
Working of an earthen pot ( role of evaporation in it )
• an earthen pot has tiny holes on its surface between the particles. Water sweeps out of the pot through these holes.
• the water outside absorbs the heat from the pot (and water inside as well from the atmosphere).
• The heat is absorbed by the particles outside the pot making the water inside cool.
• then water particles outside become vapours and evaporate and other water particles occupy the space.
• this process is done repeatedly till water is there inside the pot.
hope it helps ^_^
