Plaster paris can be used for construction. It is highly helpful in constructing statues and buildings, It can also be used as medicines and to repair broken bones.

Plaster of paris has generally low chemical composition, It decomposes at high temperature and it has a specific reaction with water and generate toxic oxides of sulphur and it produces gypsum (CaSO4 + 2H20 = Gypsum) when in reaction with water.
