Chemistry has so much importance in our lives, it is unbelievable. People usually related biology to everyday life, little do they know organic chemistry is the basis of biology.

Silver nitrate helps on a different level, lets see how.

1. Wound management: Silver Nitrate is used for bone ulcers as well as burns and acute wounds.

2. Lab: Ag-No-3 in lab is useful in many ways, one being the important role of identification of halogens, such as the, chlorine, bromine and iodine.

3. Manufacture: This chemical compound manufactures a lot of stuff, for example, it helps in silver plating, formation of mirrors by the process of the Tollen's reagent, hair dye, inks, markers and pharmaceuticals.

4. In Biology: Silver Nitrate is used as a stain for proteins and nucleic acids and used as a stain when seeing from the electron microscope.
