The difference in the characteristics or traits among the individual of a species is called variation.
The variation helps the organism to survive and flourish even in adverse environment. There may be some drastic changes due to which the organism can not bear the organism which has variation can bear even the high temperature.

(v) Green color in the beetles is a Variation that gave a survival advantage to the beetles as they can't be seen by the Birds like Crows.

(vi) The variation is necessary for the Organic Revolution and the beneficial variation of the organism is selected by the Evolution in the Nature.
