there are various factors that causes social marginalization or social exclusion, whereas it differs from place to place as a matter of fact. I feel, there is no place on the earth without this phenomena !!! there should some subtle exclusion in all culture, there is no utopia.

The basic factors are perspectives, ideologies, belief systems, customs and traditions. Geography, environment have also greatly influenced this exclusion.

1) Nationality (global level)

2) ethnicity (global and country level)

3) caste (southeast asian countries, jews)

4) race (read one drop rule from america)

5) tradition exclusion and custom exclusion (global)

6) gender (global)

7) religion (global)

8) political (fascist, Marxist communist)

9) differently abled (global)

10) hierarchy and royals (social status, ranking)

11) The broken men theory

12) literates and illterates

these are the basic factors which still persists globally on social exclusion. this can’t be weeded away for we are progressing towards in the digital world. Hope in the coming years, people who lack technical and social skills will also be socially excluded as digital illiterates. with the IOT (internet of things) on its phase.
