Fundamental duties are present in article 51 (A) of constitution. Originally they were not present in constitution they were added after 46th amendment in 1973. There were a total number of 10 fundamental duties but the number increased to 11 after the 82nd amendment in 2002. The idea of fundamental duties is taken from constitution of Russia.
