1. The protoplasm of two motile or non-motile gametes fuses by the process of plasmogamy. It is fusion of two haploid cells without nuclear fusion.
2. Karyogamy involves fusion of nuclei of the two gametes.
3. Meiosis in zygote results in haploid spores.

Fungi can reproduce sexually and asexually both .A fungi which is perfect they can reproduce sexually and asexually while imperfect fungi only reproduce asexually.
