Vena cava is a part of heart and carries deoxygnated blood from the lower half of the body to the right atrium of the heart. The corresponding vein that carries deoxygenated blood from the upper half of the body is the superior vena cava.

Vena cava (a vein) bring carbon dioxide rich blood from the whole body to the right Atrium. from the right Atrium blood goes to the right ventricle and finally carbon dioxide rich blood comes to the lungs through Pulmonary artery heart always contains its left side and carbon dioxide is blood in its right side
