Given : function   x/(1 + sinx)

To Find :  vertical asymptotes

Solution:

For a rational function with polynomials in the numerator and the denominator, vertical asymptotes are real zeros of the denominator.

x/(1 + sinx)

For vertical asymptotes

1 + sinx  = 0

=> sinx  = -1

x = 2nπ  + 3π/2

vertical asymptotes of the function   x/(1 + sinx)  are 2nπ  + 3π/2
