Adding the states of the compounds and elements in the brackets be it solid,liquid etc..and writing the colours of the reactants and products..can help you.

A chemical equation can be made more informative by:
1. Giving arrow signs, of precipitates or gases (or vapours) [downward arrow for ppts and upward arrows for evolution of gases].
2. Writing the suitable conditions, i.e., (optimum) temperature and pressure at which the reaction takes place.
3. Mentioning the name of Catalyst (if any) and promoter (if any).
4. Mentioning the colour of the compounds formed in brackets (below each compound).
5. Mentioning the state of each compound [Example, (aq) for substances in aqueous state].
