What are the x-intercepts of the graphed function? (–3, 0) and (0, 1.5) (–3, 0) and (1,0) (–1, 2) and (1, 0) (0, 1.5) and (1, 0)

We have been given few choices for the graphed function as follows:

A) (–3, 0) and (0, 1.5),

B) (–3, 0) and (1,0)

C) (–1, 2) and (1, 0)

C) (0, 1.5) and (1, 0)

Graph is missing but i can explain about how to find the answer.

x-intercept means point where graph crosses x-axis

so if graph crosses at some point x on the x-axis then x-intercept is given by (x,0)

like if graph crosses x-axis at x=5 then answer will be (5,0)

Same way y-intercept is given by (0,y)

Use that process to identify the answer.

Given functions:

(–3, 0) and (0, 1.5) (–3, 0) and (1,0) (–1, 2) and (1, 0) (0, 1.5) and (1, 0)                                  Here, x-intercept means point where graph crosses x-axis

Hence, if graph crosses at some point x on the x-axis then x-intercept is given by (x,0)

same  if graph crosses x-axis at x = 5 then solution will be (5,0)

In similar way y-intercept is given by (0,y)
