p(x)=x^2-1

x^2-1=0

x^2=1

x= 1,-1

by using identity a²-b²= (a+b) (a-b)

so, the zeroes are

(X+ 1) (x-1)

X+1= 0. x-1 = 0

X= -1. X= 1
