When a system changes from one state to another the operation is called thermodynamic process.

They are of many types, some of them are :

1) Isothermal : The process in which temperature remains constant is called isothermal process.

2) Isobaric : The process in which pressure remains constant is called isothermal process.

3) Isochoric : The process in which volume remains constant is called isothermal process.

Answer:

Defined by change in a system, a thermodynamic process is a passage of a thermodynamic system from an initial to a final state of thermodynamic equilibrium. The initial and final states are the defining elements of the process. The actual course of the process is not the primary concern, and thus often is ignored.
