When a system changes from one state to another the operation is called thermodynamic process.

They are of many types, some of them are :

1) Isothermal : The process in which temperature remains constant is called isothermal process.

2) Isobaric : The process in which pressure remains constant is called isothermal process.

3) Isochoric : The process in which volume remains constant is called isothermal process.

Answer:

A THERMODYNAMIC PROCESS IS THE ENERGETIC DEVELOPMENT OF A THERMODYNAMIC SYSTEM PROCEEDING FROM AN INITIAL STATE TO A FINAL STATE. PATHS THROUGH THE SPACE OF THERMODYNAMIC VARIABLES ARE OFTEN  SPECIFIED BY HOLDING CERTAIN THERMODYNAMIC VARIABLES CONSTANT.
