let the no.. (s) be x and y

according to the question

x+y=58 ------(1)

x-y=28 ------(2)

subtracting eq 1 and 2

we get, 2y=30

so y=15

substituting the value of y in (1)

x+15=58

so, x=58-15=43

therefore the two numbers are 43 and 15
