It form when sediment settle in lakes, ocean. and location such as sand dunes or glacial deposits. The sediment solidify in layers and results in sedimentary rock.

METAMORPHIC ROCKS

It take form when igneous sedimentary and even previously metamorphic rocks are subjected to heat and pressure deep within the Earth. The metamorphosis or change of the state of the material may involve recrystallization of mineral or development of a new compound.
