Opaque Object: If an object does not allow light to páss through it, then it is called an opaque object.

  • We cannot see the object through opaque object.

For example: wooden door, wall etc.

Translucent Object: If an object allows light partially to páss through it , then it is called a translucent object.

  • We cannot see clearly through a translucent object.

For example: Butter paper, ground glass etc.
