Valves of the heart: A tricuspid valve with three flaps is found in the right auriculo-ventricular aperture to regulate the flow of blood, from right auricle to right ventricle and it prevent the back flow of blood. A bicuspid valve or mitral valve with two flaps is found in the left auriculo ventricular aperture to regulate the flow of blood, from left auricle to left ventricle and prevent the back flow of blood.
