As we move away from the heart and weight equatorial region the rainfall decrease and we notice a zone of transition with support variety of grasses and stunted thorny bushes. This is the reason of Tropical Grassland.
A well known belt is clearly visible in the continent of Africa. It is a sandwiched zone between the rainforest and the hot desert and is referred to as the savanna region. Such grasslands are also located in Northern Australia and the Brazilian and Guiana Highlands. The wildlife hair includes the elephant, giraffe, zebra and leopard .
