What happened to the greenish warbler birds as they migrated from the southern portion of their range up around the Tibetan Plateau? What are two main distinctions between the East Siberian greenish warbler and the West Siberian greenish warbler.

Hi there,

Following are the two main differences between the  East Siberian greenish warbler and the West Siberian greenish warbler;

  1. Their plumage patterns: The way their patterns changes and what it changes is different in both the kinds. Males use their patterns to attract the females.
  2. The wing bars which are used for communication: The east Siberian greenish warbler has two wing bars whereas west Siberian greenish wablers have one set of wing bars

I hope the answer is helpful.

Thanks
